Anne Hathaway is picture-perfect on the cover of InStyle magazine’s March 2010 issue.

Here’s what the 27-year-old Alice in Wonderland actress had to share with the mag:

On her appearance: “I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.”

On playing the White Queen: “When I found out Tim Burton was on, I basically went into the studio and said, ‘I’m here, I want to play the White Queen. I’m just letting you know I will do anything to be in this movie.’”

On planning: “I don’t time anything. I never plan an image I want to project. It’s always very much where I am right now.”

Hot on the promotional trail, Jennifer Garner was out at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (February 9).

The former “Alias” actress gave a big wave as she readied for an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman”.

While on the red carpet, Miss Garner dished on her most memorable Valentine’s Day experience, telling MTV News, “My best Valentine’s Day, I took my friend, both of us were single, and said, ‘Screw it, we’re going to go have a romantic weekend.’ We went to the wine country, we stayed in romantic bed and breakfasts and we had wine tastings and great meals and massages. We were surrounded by couples in love and we did not care.”

She’s one of the Caribbean’s most famous female exports and Rihanna has decided to pay homage to her West Indian roots in her new video.

The promo for the 21-year-old’s new single Rude Boy is just as racy as her previous efforts, but this time the singer took inspiration from her homeland.

In one shot from the video she is seen wearing a revealing gold net outfit that barely covers her modesty, topped off with a leopard print hat.

Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Timbaland were all sitting at the same table in Miami’s Liv club when five magnums of Laurent Perrier Rose were thrown from the balcony above them, one whistling past the Umbrella star’s left arm before smashing to the floor.

Someone from Rihanna’s table allegedly hurled a bottle back, prompting the party above to send an even bigger jeroboam bottle hurtling down.

Despite almost causing Rihanna serious injury, the yobs were shouting “Touchdown” every time a bottle landed.

According to witnesses Rihanna was screaming as American footballer-sized bouncers waded in to catch the troublemakers, before the club’s DJ announced the night had come to an abrupt end.

Just two days after the Super Bowl concert and a performance on behalf of the
SOS: Help For Haiti telethon, the singer was pictured in Tokyo.

Wrapping up against the cold, she sported a leopard print fur coat on a visit to a nail salon in the city’s Daikanyama district.

(CNN) — There are no downsides to fame, said Lady Gaga, the singer and currently one of the hottest things in pop. For someone whose debut album called “The Fame” has reached No. 4 in the Billboard charts and has two of the year’s biggest selling singles, it’s not a surprising statement. But talking in Macau before her final concert of her Asian tour, it seemed that if not fame itself, its handmaidens — media scrutiny and touring — might be taking their toll on the 23-year-old. Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) arrived for the interview backstage at the Venetian Hotel’s concert arena suitably attired; wrapped in a Vivienne Westwood outfit and propped up in enormous Galliano heels. With gargantuan shades covering half her face, the avant-garde fashionista image was intact.

“I’m sort of a musical pop music misfit,” she said in her slow New York drawl, and “a relentless bitch” in response to how she had got to the top of the music industry.

She claims Lady Gaga is not a persona and it seems she is committed to living as closely to the wild fantasy shown in her videos. More at home on the stage than in the interview chair –”We could sit here and talk, but you will never know who I am unless you see me live” — even Gaga’s faithful make-up artist (in attendance throughout the interview) thought she was crazy because she sleeps in her wigs.

Was it to keep the persona up, stay in character? No, “I just like wigs,” she said with an unintentional comic deadpan.

She’s gone from art school dropout performing in clubs in the Lower East Side of Manhattan to the edge of global stardom with her infectious dance tunes and an intriguing and outlandish image. It’s an image that has been carefully concocted; part performance artist, part sexualized pop automaton who feeds on pop culture iconography, digests and adapts it.

“Tabloids were my text books, I’d tear out pages. I embrace pop culture; everything that people say is poisonous, ostentatious and shallow. It’s like my chemistry book. I look though everything and make what I believe is art out of it,” she said.

Assisting in her pop alchemy is the Haus of Gaga, her inner circle that encompasses designers, producers and those she’s close to. As well as her make-up artist, her manager was also in close attendance during the shoot. While we weren’t allowed a further glimpse into the “Haus,” her coterie exhibited tendencies more like a support group than put-upon workers dealing with diva demands.

“I must remain prolific and relevant… but equally irrelevant,” she said as a gnomic strategy for maintaining success. But great anecdotes about how she came up with certain ideas for costumes that involved running around the woods naked in Hawaii sounded more like a real person and less arch.

Yet her contention that fame can do no wrong was shaken by one question at the end of the interview. Aware that more people wanted to know more about her the longer she’s in the public eye — “I find I’m being probed a bit more” — Internet rumors have been spreading.

While helpful for fueling media interest and the enigma of Lady Gaga, among the most fantastic things circulating out there is that she’s a brain-washed puppet of the Illuminati, another is that she is a hermaphrodite. The question was asked how does feel when she reads things like the latter.

Gaga herself said the cameras should be turned off, the interview over. They weren’t and it wasn’t. Things were quickly, if uncomfortably, smoothed over for the sake of one more question to “end on a positive note,” according to the manager. “You can ask me about scrutiny, but I’d prefer if you didn’t…” Gaga said.

Was the reaction a studied response to fuel more controversy? It didn’t seem so, it was personal and had struck a nerve. Yet her response to the reworded question on scrutiny was like a switch had been flicked and she was back on message:

“There are no downsides,” she said before launching into slightly an anecdote that involved getting advice from Grace Jones while she washed her feet.

She’s long been known for her impractical dress sense, but Victoria Beckham appeared to concede defeat on a shopping trip in Los Angeles yesterday.

The always glamorous Spice Girl struggled up the stairs in a figure-hugging black dress from her fashion range and $650 Miu Miu midnight blue heels as she visited Barney’s department store with her sister Louise.

As she wiggled up the stairs in the restrictive shift, the mother-of-three fiddled with her zip on the back to give her better ease of movement.

The 35-year-old spent an hour trying on shoes at Barney’s shoe department in The Grove shopping mall.

But as she prepared to leave empty-handed, she found it a struggle to navigate the steep stairs.

Her sleek Sanson dress is from the new autumn/winter season from her Victoria Beckham Collection.

Her smart black outfit, which she teamed with a £1,500 quilted Chanel handbag, looked better suited to the office than to a shopping trip.

The dress was just the latest in a string of outfits Victoria has worn with a prominent zip.

Last week, she was spotted flying from Los Angeles to London in a cream trilby with a bulky gold zip across the crown.

Several of her new designs from her Victoria Beckham Collection include obvious zips on the backs.

Meanwhile, Victoria has landed a second primetime TV role in America after her recent stint as a guest judge on American Idol.

She has been asked as a guest panellist on The View – the U.S. version of Loose Women – on September 14.

Victoria is just one of a host of celebrities standing in while regular host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is on maternity leave.

She will join broadcasting veteran Barbara Walters and actress Whoopi Goldberg on the panel.

The 23-year-old is seen writhing around on the beach in a series of steamy poses on the shoot which took place on Canouan Island, The Grenadines

The model was photographed by Raphael Mazzucco for SI’s highly anticpated bikini edition.

And in an accompanying video she is seen rolling in the surf – all in the name of her art of course.

It is Bar’s third year being photographed for the magazine’s famed swimsuit edition, and she said she was just ‘really, really, relaxed’.

More recently she has currently been accompanying boyfriend DiCaprio, 34,  around the world as he promoted his latest film Revolutionary Road, which also stars Kate Winslet.

The pair met in November 2005 at a party in Las Vegas. They recently denied more rumours of an imminent engagement.

‘There is no truth to it,’ a source close to Leo revealed to OK! magazine.

The rumours were sparked after the couple was spotted leaving a store in Beverly Hills, and a ring was seen on Bar’s engagement finger.

The source explained: ‘Bar just had the ring on that finger. Nothing more.’

Meanwhile Bar has signed up for the revival of MTV show House of Style.
